| Call for Papers | | Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association - Sept 12 - 14 2010 |
Join us in September 2010 for a water and wastewater conference. Saint John, Canada’s first City, is hosting the 2010 Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association Annual Conference.
The world of water and wastewater is rapidly changing with growing demands, shrinking water supplies and more stringent regulations designed to protect people’s health and the environment. Similar changes can be seen on the technology front for how we collect, treat, and manage our water and wastewater infrastructure. As such, all stakeholders are faced with significant challenges in keeping up with all of these changes.
The theme of the 2010 ACWWA Conference, “What’s Coming Down the Pipe”, puts focus on the daunting task many have in overcoming all of these challenges with existing infrastructure and resources. The 2010 Conference will be a fantastic opportunity for friends and colleagues to learn about how others have dealt with or are now dealing with all of the new challenges “Coming Down the Pipe” and perhaps share their knowledge so all can benefit from the conference experience.
Oral Presentations The Atlantic Canada Water & Wastewater Association is inviting abstract submissions for the 2010 Conference in Saint John, NB. All topics related to the water and wastewater profession will be considered. Presentations will be 20 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions. New Brunswick is Canada’s only official bilingual province and in support of our New Brunswick heritage, the conference committee welcomes presentations in both Official Languages.
Deadline for Abstract: February 28, 2010
