The 19th Annual Bridge Building Contest was held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Charlottetown Mall.
The event was a huge success with over 140 bridges entered and tested.
Congratulations to Matthew Crozier, Grade 12 student from KISH. He not only won the competition, but he beat the previous record, also held by him!
Matthew's bridge held an amazing 505 pounds of maximum load! How long will this record be kept?
We hope for even more bridges next year.
Next year there will be a minor change. ALL bridges will need to be pre-registered and will not be accepted at the mall. This will make the competition run more smoothly. Volunteers will pick up bridges, at the request of the teacher/student.
The results of the Bridge Building Contest are in the attached PDF.
