Over 100 Canadian women to-date have won one of these highly sought after, and nationally recognized scholarships. CEMF schlarship are awareded based on leadership, community involvement and extra-curricular activity. High marks or grade average are not part of the selection criteria. All winners are expected to act as role models and mentors to youth and expecially to young women. In that regard, they are required to make a presentation to at least one pre-univeristy audience promoting engineering as a career choice for women.
