IDEA Group Inc. is a full service land development and civil engineering
consulting firm, committed to providing efficient and economical engineering
solutions for the land development industry. We believe that the cornerstone

Our strength comes from IDEA’s dedicated professionals in Calgary, Alberta
and Stratford, PEI. With a total of eighteen full- and part-time staff, we have
a small, focused presence, which gives us a keen understanding of each
client’s requirements and the ability to respond immediately to a client's
needs.
We currently are looking for candidates to join our Stratford office:
· one (1) intermediate engineer, with 5 to 7 years of progressive
experience in the Calgary-area land development marketplace; and,
· two (2) recent Civil Engineering graduates/engineers-in-training.
All prospective team members will:
· qualify for registration with EngineersPEI and APEGGA;
· gain experience with Autodesk Civil3D 2011 as a design tool
(previous experience with Civil3D preferred);
· be capable of working in a team environment to oversee projects
from preliminary design to construction completion;
· possess and further develop strong organizational skills, in
coordinating with team members, governing authorities, contractors
and other consultants;
· possess strong problem solving, decision making and
communication skills; and,
· be willing and able to learn and adapt, in keeping with IDEA’s
position at the leading edge of engineering design software and
technologies. Current packages include a full suite of Autodesk
products (Civil3D, Revit, Storm/Sanitary Analysis), SWMHYMO,
QHM, AutoTURN, Torus, WaterCAD, SketchupPro, and FastTrack,
among others.
