Attention to all EngineersPEI Members:
Call for 2009 - 2010 EngineersPEI Council Nominations:
Deadline: Friday, September 4, 2009.
Nominations are now being received for the 2009 - 2010 Council. The Council shall consist of the President, Vice President, Past-President and a minimum of four Councillors.
The President and Vice President shall be elected by the vote of the total membership and shall hold office for one year. A minimum of two Councillors shall be elected annually by a vote of the total membership for a term of two years.
Nominees for President shall be members who have previously served at least two full years on Council. Nominees for Vice-President shall be members who have previously served at least one full year on Council.
Nominations for office may be made by members providing such nomination is made in writing and filed with the Secretary at least sixty days before the annual meeting. The written submission shall include the name of the member placed in nomination, the office for which the nomination is made and signatures of at least five members in support of the nomination. The submission shall also include a written statement from the nominee confirming agreement to stand for election to the office for which the nomination is made.
