Calling all Math and Science teachers and BEd candidates! IDEaLS: Inclusion of Diversity in Engineering and Leadership in Sustainability is a research opportunity starting in the summer and extending into the Fall semester, at the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering at UPEI, to engage teachers and soon-to-be teachers in the articulation and demonstration of Engineering in the high school classroom. You will be matched with an engineering professor, work on your own research project and be introduced to fundamental engineering tools, meet Professional Engineers on the island, and receive an IDEaLS Teacher recognition award. The research plan can be customized to your schedule and does not have to be over an intensive five-week period.
